How many people does The Walnut Barn sleep?
The Walnut Barn sleeps 8 guests, in four king-size bedrooms. It is booked as a whole house, so the barn, the games barn, the terraces and the hot tub are yours alone for your stay.
How are the bedrooms and bathrooms laid out?
There are four king-size bedrooms, each with its own en-suite shower room. Three are on the ground floor and one is upstairs. One bedroom also has a freestanding stone bath. A fifth shower room, with a WC, is in the games barn. All five bathrooms have a shower, basin, WC and hairdryer.
Is there a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor?
Yes. Three of the four king bedrooms are on the ground floor, each with its own shower room. If you need more detail about access, ask Holiday Cottages before you book.
What time can we arrive, and when do we leave?
Arrival is from 16:00 and departure is before 10:00.
Can we bring our dog?
Sorry, no dogs are allowed at The Walnut Barn.
Is there parking?
Yes. There is off-road parking for four cars.

How big is the dining table?
The dining table in the open-plan kitchen and living room seats up to ten, so all eight of you fit with room to spare. Outside there is a second dining terrace beside the outdoor kitchen.
What is in the games barn?
A pool table, air hockey, a darts board and a cinema-style projector, with seating and its own shower room with WC. It is across the courtyard from the main barn.
Is the hot tub private?
Yes. The hot tub is private to The Walnut Barn, on the terraces alongside the outdoor kitchen, fire pit and loungers.
How far is the nearest pub, and where are the shops?
The nearest pub or restaurant is 0.5 miles away. For shops, Coleford town centre is 2.5 miles away.
Where exactly is the barn?
In the village of Clearwell, on the edge of the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire. The full address is shared when you book.
