We had a wonderful stay at The Walnut Barn. The property offered everything we needed for a relaxing multigenerational break. The barn was beautifully furnished to a very high standard, with thoughtful touches throughout that made us feel comfortable and well catered for.

The surrounding views were stunning, and watching the free-roaming deer feed while we sat in the garden was an unexpected but truly memorable bonus.

There’s also a lovely local pub just a few minutes’ walk away, and a recently refurbished wooden children’s playground only a few footsteps from the property, which was a great addition for the younger members of our family.

The location made an excellent base for exploring, with a variety of local attractions within easy reach, including caves, mines and scenic viewpoints. There was plenty nearby for all generations to enjoy.

Any questions we had were answered quickly, and help was always available, including when we needed a little guidance with the heating controls. That friendly, responsive support made our stay even more enjoyable.
